Berikut mobil jatah menteri dari kabinet ke kabinet:
1. Kabinet Soekarno
Presiden Soekarno memberikan masing-masing satu mobil dinas Dodge Dart untuk para menterinya. Bahkan mobil yang sama juga diberikan kepada perdana menteri dan wakil perdana menteri.
2. Kabinet Soeharto
Rezim Soeharto selalu memilih Volvo sebagai tunggangan para menterinya. Seri 264 GL yang berkesan eksklusif dan mewah ini dipakai sejak 1978. Sosoknya yang terkesan klasik dan mewah membuat Volvo dianggap pas untuk menambah wibawa para pejabat tinggi. Volvo 264 GL merupakan pengembangan dari 264 DL yang didesain Jan Wilsgaard, memakai mesin Volvo V6 PRV Automatic 2.664 cc dengan 6 silinder.
3. Kabinet Reformasi
Pemerintahan BJ Habibie, Abdurrahman Wahid, dan Megawati Soekarnoputri memembagikan mobil bagi para menteri-menterinya Volvo 960. Mobil ini merupakan bekas Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi APEC 1992. Saat itu Soeharto memborong mobil yang disediakan bagi para pemimpin sejumlah negara. Volvo 960 pertama kali diproduksi pada 1991 di Amerika Serikat. Mulai 1992 hingga 1998 dikerjakan di Swedia. Sejak 1998, mobil ini berubah nama menjadi S90.
4. Kabinet Indonesia Bersatu Jidil I
Saat Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, penggunaan Volvo dihentikan. SBY memiilih Toyota Camry V6. Mobil ini dipakai para pejabat negara, menteri kabinet, dan para pemimpin lembaga negara.
5.Kabinet Indonesia Bersatu Jidil II
Sepertinya Yudhoyono bakal membagi-bagikan Crown Majesta kepada pembantu-pembantunya. Mobil mewah ini hanya dipasarkan di Jepang. Meski harganya sekitar Rp 700 juta, bila dibawa ke Indonesia harganya bisa berlipat hingga di atas Rp 1 miliar. Sebab, produsen tidak menanggung ongkos kirim dan pajak.
